Oakland Chinatown Chamber Foundation
The Oakland Chinatown Chamber Foundation (OCC Foundation) was formed in 2003 as a 501c3 charitable non-profit organization to accept donations towards projects that will benefit the welfare of business entities and residents in the Oakland Chinatown community through educational and cultural enrichment activities, as well as economic development endeavors. In addition, the Foundation was established to facilitate the collection of donations from businesses and individuals to benefit the community in time of emergencies and casualties.
Quite often, the Oakland Chinatown Chamber Foundation works in conjunction with the Oakland Chinatown Chamber of Commerce on projects that benefit the community to give donors the ability to invest in the community while taking advantage of donating through a non-profit organization for tax advantages.
